Used to be that we had to "fight" Spike for him to go to sleep up to the point where we would put him in his crate and stay out of that area so he could have quiet and sleep. Now it seems that he will be hanging out then we look at him and he's conked out. He's still a tiny bit jumpy with sounds but he must have taken 3 naps - decent sized ones - today so far. And at night he doesn't even bother crashing somewhere before 8 - when he's ready he comes to me (we have a routine) and I put him to bed (crate) and close him up for the night. This is probably normal or is it? It seems so strange to me
Mom to Spike & Tiller
Toby's bedtime is between 9-9:30 without fail he starts getting all sleepy eyed and gets up on the couch and falls asleep.
Gracie sits and cries if I'm not in bed by 9:30, she will sit in the living room and whine until I go to bed. Lola will sleep anywhere, but she's not a sleepy head like Grace.
Spikes on your breeders website...did you see him
Spike is so handsome. What a beautiful coat, perhaps because he's getting his beauty sleep. (Just kidding.) Roscoe is a big sleeper. Somedays he takes two naps before lunch! One or two after lunch, and another one after dinner but before going to bed for the night. He usually sleeps from 8:30 pm until 6:30 pm.
