QuestionHe's Hanging on by a Thread! Need advice!

First of all, Happy (Canadian) Thanksgiving to you all!!!

My little 5 month old pup seems to have a tooth falling out. It's a bottom front tooth to the side, and like I said - it's hanging on by a thread and about to fall out. We tried to pull it out last night with tweezers, since I can tell its really bothering him. Do we let nature take its course? Or ask the vet?

Also, how will/do I know which are baby teeth and SHOULD fall out? And which ones are adult teeth.... ???

Leave it alone, it will fall out on its own.

All his baby teeth should fall out. If they're adult teeth, they'll be bigger than his milk teeth.

Toby had a top canine tooth hanging and I tried to pull it...oh what fun that was Anyway it wouldn't come out and by the end of the day it was lost some where.
He has all his adult teeth except the molars...I think.

Um ok, that little bumblebee costume is adorable. i can't stop looking at it!! ha ha

OK, if anyone else has anything to say, PLEASE put in your 5 cents! I'm thinking I'll just leave it. Hubby wants me to call vet for advice, but I'd rather ask all of your (free) advice. Right now the tooth WANTS to come out, and puppy has 'bloody' breath from it. Otherwise he seems uncomfortable but not in pain.

Does he have a rope bone to play with? I would let it come out on it's own.

Don't call the vet about this. It's nothing. Let nature take it's course.

WOW, I avoided this thread because I thought a dog was really sick ("He's Hanging on by a thread). I feel so relieved knowing it's just a baby tooth! lol
