this boy is WILD!! I know he is a puppy and I am doing all I can just to keep up with him.
Well he has started humping....oh gee. Any advice will be much appreciated with getting this under control..if possible.
Sorry, no advice on the humping - never had that problem. But I have to say that Toby is so darn adorable!! Those sweet eyes can just melt you.
How old is Toby?

Humping what, you? Zack started humping when he was 8 weeks old *proud mama* lol. It was easily solved by getting him a 'special friend' soft toy and replacing it when he outgrows it to a bigger model At 7 months old, all he humps is that toy. Just redirect him to the toy and you'll be fine. Z's mother and father had a toy too and that solved the 'problem' for them...they also stopped around 1yr old
P.S. He's beautiful!
and here's an e.g.
Thanks everyone. Toby is around 8wks. He started humping the couch then our legs. I have given him a toy to get his mind off of it and it does help. I never had a male pup before.
I've never had a humpy boy before, but Zack does it every day. He'll drag his sheep around all the downstairs rooms and hump it in each of them . Every time he goes for you, pick him up and put him on the toy (thats if you don't mind him doing it, as opposed to wanting him to stop completely)
Thank you. We joked that by the time he reaches adulthood, he'll be a 'proven' stud many times over
