DefaultMy Couch Potato.... or something wrong?

Storm is now 11 weeks old. He's always been a very good sleeper, but maybe too good?

After dinner, around 6pm each night, he'll go out to poop, play with the other dogs for a little bit, but usually by 7 or 8, is PASSED OUT on our couch. I'll bring him outside before we go to bed to pee, but then will sleep in his crate all night until around 5.

At 5, after another pee (and possibly a poopy), he's allowed in our bed, where he'll nuzzle up and sleep for as long as we hit snooze about 30 minutes.

Mind you, I'm NOT complaining... just a little surprised. Our Golden was much higher maintenance, and was wondering if anyone else has "couch potato puppies".

The breeder that we got him from claimed that the dad was very laid back.. maybe it's in the genes? LOL

    Thanks!

Sounds like my boy, Blaise. At that age he was walking himself into his crate by 8 and would be out for the night. Even with our nightly trips outdoors with my older dog (at 2 or 3 am) he never woke up. Count your blessings!

Even though you have to positive replies already, I would get in touch with you breeder. I would question if you really have a Lab. <g>
