Toby's a cute pup. the harness looks fine to me.its so much easier to walk with a harness versus a collar and leash.

Toby is so cute! The harness looks fine. However, as Toby gets bigger and stronger, he will be able to pull you pretty hard with that kind of harness. You might want to look into the Easy Walk harness, which allows the leash to be hooked onto the front of the dog's chest rather than top of his back.

Toby's cute in his new harness!!

Agree with the others though... that type of harness will actually encourage him to pull. If you like a harness vs collar/leash, either the Easy Walk harness or the Sense-ation/Sense-ible harnesses are great and won't encourage him to pull.

Well good to know AFTER I spent $40 on it!!! lol
But it only goes to 50 lbs anyways (its a medium). We both like it, it is easy for me to put on and seems to be comfortable for him. I was using a Prong Collar but had so many negative comments about it that I went and got this harness. Then I called Ralph, an Obedience trainer here where I live and he told me to bring to class with me (March 1st)...a PRONG COLLAR!!! So atleast I have one already (it was $20, so glad I will have a reason to use it).
But this harness works great for now. I feel like I can control his body better, and I like that it has an attachment for the seatbelt in the car (he goes everywhere with me if he can!). I did however see the Easy Walk Harness at the Pet Store this weekend (the one that goes around his nose and neck) and will probably get that one for him after he grows out of this harness. Thanks for the tips! [IMG][/IMG]
