Chloe was 15 1/5 when we had to have her put down. She was brilliant and had a great character. She loved eating (dont all labs) swimming and best of all squeaky balls!! She was quite poorly come the end, she suffered from bronchitis, arthritis, demensia , had to have one eye removed due to glaucoma and she was partial to strokes every few months. After checking with the vet he said she was not suffering so we gave her the best we could in medication to make her life as comfy as possible, and it worked. It still breaks my heart that she is no longer with us and I still cry and the photos we have of her. She is dearly missed and loved. We got Chloe all those years ago from a Labradour Rescue place in Salisbury UK, and when we called them to let them know she had gone, the woman who spoke to my partner was the same woman who took Chloe to her new home (strange but true). Although she is gone she will never be forgotten and I am glad for places such as this so we can lay tribute to our pets now and pets past.

I'm sorry for your loss. I know how much you loved her, and she was very lucky to have an owner like you who loved her and cared for her like you did.
If you feel about your Chloe like I did about my Annie, then your life might have a big void now, but it was certainly made better by having that dog in your life!
I'm so sorry for the loss of your sweet girl. She was very beautiful and was such a character, it just glows from her. Great pics of her. (((HUGS)))
