    DefaultEditing help?

Ok who's good at editing? I was taking some portraits (or attempting to) for lesson 8 and I took a picture of Molly that I like but well the picture is not so great (lol)

Is there anything that I could edit to make it look better? I don't want it to be perfect (which it's far from) just a little better so that I can put it in her scrapbook.

Yike, I think I mis-read your post. I thought you wanted someone to edit it for you. Oh well, I had fun playing with it :P

You need to watch your backgrounds. This one is way too cluttered for a portrait. Put the dog against something solid, or natural, like grasses or tree trunk, or wooden fence, or brick, etc.... You also need better focus. This one is not focused that well.

    It's ok

I like the way you edited better than the way i did (lol). I'm having a lot of fun with these portraits, but since I usually shoot on weekends it got a little rough with all the rain and ice we got. Hopefully I can get outside tomorrow.

One thing you can do inside is take a solid colored bed sheet or blanket and drape that somewhere and position the dog in front of it so you have a solid background Have fun!
