Here are some of my outtakes. There were two pictures that were almost identical. I hope I don't get them messed up.

I think this was too much of her neck & shoulder area.

The exposure is good on these. When you take profiles like this, try to a little more 3/4 face rather than from the side. It just makes for a more interesting picture. Good job.

Thanks Monnie. I tried to get a better side view but she turns her head. I do have some that show more of her face but one had her ear looking goofy & another was not the best composition. Hey....I'm learning.

Exactly. When you can honestly look at your own pictures and critique them with an impartial eye, you'll know you've arrived.

I liked this, but SU said it was too "busy"

This was taken in the house; no flash, by the window.
I found it interesting, but the flower is lavendar, but you really can't tell that it is

This is the full shot of the flower, outside, before it was picked and brought into the house

I like the Bird of Paradise. I agree with your SU. I would have used a lower AV to try to blur the background more.

I liked this picture, with swirly snow, but the exposure wasn't right.

I think the exposure is better in this one, but I wanted swirly snow! Couldn't get it right, so didn't use either.

We have had horrid gloom in Illinois for the past 2 weeks! Yesterday and today were the only sun that I caught.

I like this picture and think the exposure on this is good, but maybe the half dog composition is not. Should have been further away or closer.

Halle was looking at me, cute as can be, but I missed it! I actually like the composition. I don't think exposure is too bad.

I was really enjoying the dogs lying in the early morning sun. Considering standing in the dark and taking into the sunlight, I think the exposure is okay.

Judy, I like the first one. This type picture is ok with just part of the dog. I might have cropped it right behind the elbow.

Linda - The 2nd one does have better exposure. I see a little swirly snow.
