Eiderdowns That's My Buddy

I took so many, then I could not decide which to use. I am going with this one. I picked this one because Molly seems to be almost in 3D. Does that make sense? She seems to stick out from the background. I am not sure if that is good or bad.
So here goes:
Canon Rebel XT SS - 1/125 f/5 ISO - 100 Focal length 43mm
Linda and Zoë, the Umlaut
I took this Saturday and was really excited about how cool the depth of field turned out. Since I think it also has good exposure, I decided to post it. This is by far the best close up pic I've taken in Manual exposure.
Canon Rebel XTi
Focal Length: 49 mm
Ok, I'm going with this one as I think it is the best one I've taken in the past week - AND one of my all time favorites that I've gotten of Jake!
Camera: Sony DSC-H5
Exposure: 0.001 sec (1/800)
Focal Length: 72 mm
ISO Speed: 200
Exposure Bias: 0/167772160 EV
Flash: Flash did not fire
I tried my best to not blow out the snow, but yet keep it light enough to show some detail in the barn. I'll have to read about the histogram again. I still don't get it.
Side note: I must enjoy this class. I went out in freezing weather, 50 mph gust, snow and frozen snot on my face!
This was really hard to decide! A nearly identical picture had a broader DOF (fence was in focus). I did not get many outside pictures due to wind, rain, snow, ice and other winter afflictions. Finally there has been sun the past 2 days. This was taken today and door was freshly cleaned. See outtakes for a simpler, cleaner composition at approximately the same time. Halle's bed would be just to the right of this pic.
Judy, mom to Reba, the Lab, and Jalapeno (Halle), the JRT
We have had such bad weather the past couple of weeks I had to shoot inside for this class.
Canon PowerShot S500 P&S
Shot in manual
Shutter speed 1/20
focal length 7 mm
I really liked this pictures as it showed the depth of field and the variations in the colors.
It was actually taken using the potrait mode because I was so close to the flower
FUJIFILM FINEPIX E550
Landscape setting (because i have a P&S camera)
Aperture value 5.400
Shuterspeed value 6.300
We have had bad weather too, this was the only good picture i got, I used landscape mode because i seem to always use portrait and never landscape that often. I like this picture, because it is misty and the tree looks good agaisnt a misty background. But i'm no professiona.Lol. I hope this picture is OK because i never seem to get it right >.
