    DefaultJack & Mom's walks.

For the last month or so, Jack & I have been doing a morning walk on the trail through the woods behind our house. The trail goes into the woods, does a little loop and comes back. Probably 1/2 mile total. After coffee and before breakfast. This AM I grabbed my camera and thought I'd share how Jack & I start the day. He often ends up our little walk with a swim in the pond (that I've put pictures of in lots of posts). When we walk in the woods, he sometimes runs ahead, sometimes starts sniffing something or stops to do his morning business and I just go on ahead. He never lets me get too far ahead before I hear him running up behind. I mentiioned to my Husband this AM that I'm not sure if it's more me keeping Jack in my sight...or him keeping me in his. Anyway I love our walks. Here's some pics:

Gorgeous pictures, I love how Jack is always looking for you! Maxx does that and Jon calls him a mama's boy, can't wait to show him it is not just Maxx that stops and waits for mom!

It is wonderful that Jack always keeps Mama in sight. It's so great to just walk through the woods with him unleashed and free. I have called him a few times over this last month if I don't see him, but he's always right there. Just behind a tree or in the brush. He likes to stay right by Mom or Dad. Tell Jon that being a "mama's boy" is a GOOD thing!!!
