Well, I posted in the Introductions board a while ago, but I really don't know where to start, so I'll begin by doing something I can do even if I don't know what to type... here's some photos!
The day we got him.
He still had a shaved patch on his front leg from when he got fixed at the pound.
Jack and M on Jack's first trip to the beach.
Jack loves M because M gives him big raw bones to eat every time we visit.
Initially I had this rule that he wouldn't be allowed on the furniture. Here you can see he's very happy with himself because I gave in and let him get on the couch. o_o
Napping in the sun after his morning walk. Awwwww.
I have so many photos.
What a good looking boy! Let's see more!
I know. He's such a lovely dog, even with his bad manners. He's never been aggressive or nasty even though he's probably had a rough puppyhood. According to the woman who gave him to me (she got him from the pound but only had him for a matter of weeks before she decided she couldn't keep him and was going to take him back there) his original owners kept him chained up and he was eventually seized for neglect. When we took him to the vet the vet also said he could tell Jack had been neglected and not given enough attention (and possibly food or exercise) by his behaviour. He's really a puppy inside, only much bigger and stronger.
Dog proudly presenting me with a piece of torn cardboard:
Dog crushing my legs and holding his Kong toy.
Dog returning from the sea with a stick (I actually threw a ball in there, but whatever...)
He's a very handsome fellow! Thanks for rescuing him. It looks as if he fits in very well.
What a cute boy! He looks very happy in his new home.
what a sweet looking boy! I love doggy pics!
