I was poking around another board and someone had their dogs with titles listed....I saw a few I had never seen before: PN, GN, AGN
The only thing I could think of is it's Pre Novice, Grad Novice, and Adv. Grad Novice, but I didn't think those were titling classes yet.
All I know is in Canada, Pre-novice titles are signified with PCD.
Baloo - 5 year old black lab
Peanut - 7 year old minpin
Monster - 3-ish year old frenchie/jack, rescue
I did a bit of surfing and digging on the AKC site, and they'll be adding a GN and GO (Grad Novice and Grad Open) as of Jan 2009.
This was a gal on the UKC board (and representing the UKC) and I think she was just listing ANYTHING the dog had done. One dog had like 2 lines of abbreviations...though curiously enough, for being a UKC person, she didn't have too many of those titles. Who knows.
Are you sure she was representing the UKC? When I first started going there, I thought everyone who had "UKC Board Member" under their name was on the UKC board. After reading posts for awhile and posting a couple of times, I've come to realize that "UKC Board Member" means they are a registered member of the forum. Took me awhile, tho! You are RIGHT, I may have looked too quickly. I know some of them have different designations when they are the ones answering the quesions for the folks who post. :ugly: Doh!
I was just over there and realized UKC employees actaully have "UKC Employee" under their names. Hmm, maybe I noticed that awhile ago and that's how I figured out the "Board Member" thing. LOL
