Gosh, these ulcers are a pain.
We got the right one cleared up.
The left one is a bugger, my vet had to debride it and then Ruger was ouchy all over again. Changed meds once again. Hoping this time it will heal. I'm tired of poking my boy in the eye so much.
Good to hear that the one has cleared. It would be a pain having to deal with the eye.

My goodness! Do they know what causes them? Hope the other one clears up quickly now.
sorry to hear it hasn't cleared right up
I HATE eye ulcers (after needing an eye removed due to a lack of care before a dog was turned in to us and after needing two surgeries to repair ulcers on another dog that I spent 6 months trying to treat!)
hoping your early catching of it will make all the difference
hang in there

It's tough to have to deal with ulcers in eyes. I know from having them that anytime I went outside the sun or the wind was just incredibly iratating to them. Everytime I squinted it hurt. My friends lab had them on both eyes too and she kept him inside for over a month while they healed. she only let him out in the early morning and in the evening, She was heart broken not to be able to do obedience or agility or anything else with him but she always puts his health above titles and training.
Hope his other eye gets better soon!
