What a great club! They had three trials in two days and did a wonderful job putting it on. It was great to see Pat and Emilu again, as well as meeting her SU and Skippy.

As for Caleb. Well. For whatever reason he was so stressed Saturday. I have never seen him so stressed before. In warming up I could not even get him to come to front or heel. Wow! First thing in Utility was articles and he just went out and stood there so I gave him a second command. Rest of Utility went well, including his go-outs. That run we lost 1/2 point on go-outs. Way to go Caleb!

Open was better but he still was not himself. All three Open runs he went down on the long sit. The first one was 5 seconds before we returned, today was right away again. He blew really nice scores, too.

Other Utility runs were nice. Our second one we qualified! We had two no sits on the go-outs and he walked in a step and a half when I left him for signals. Without those he would have been in the ribbons. Today he didn't do the first go-out but did do the second.

I really think he wants me to die a slow and painful, drawn out death! But my instructor was there and she told me to not be discouraged that she didn't see anything that really bothered her except for the sit. She said he looks like what he is--a dog that has not been in the ring for 2 1/2 months. His attitude was sooooooooo much better today though.

It was great seeing you , Caleb and Micah too! I'm glad you enjoyed the show - is was a LONG run from crates to rings this year - hopefully next year we'll be back to the same set-up as before.
