    DefaultSunday obedience/rally update

Well 1 out of 2 ain't too bad...Both Robbie and I had a rather sleepless night at my parents the night before the show and I think it showed.

Novice B obedience..I never really had his focus..and you can tell..sloppy heeling..stand he moved his feet a bit..off lead heeling lost him at the end..but the biggies...did not stay when left for the recall or for the sits..(we were excused from the down)..and I know you've all heard it before..his stay is usually his most reliable part..LOL..oh well..

Novice B rally...score 99..woo hooo leg 2..even tho it was after the obedience being able to talk to him kept his focus on me so much better..and the course was extremely easy ..much easier than we practice in class...got dinged 1 pt for a wide left turn of all things..

So considering I am pleased with our day..

Great job on Rally!!! I look forward to hearing if SKC's obed set up has improved since the one and only time I went (~7 yrs ago). :P

I was told the group stays on Sat went pretty badly too with the judges having to allow 2 dogs to re-do them after one dog play pounced another. Ah well, there are several of us to practice with these days....... : Anne

Congrats on the rally leg! I know I always prayed that Rally would be before obedience just to get that brain engaged.

Keep up the good work in Obedience. It will all come together.

    Congratulations!

I know how frustrating it can be. We are going to our first trial in about 6mths in a few weeks and I know I'm going to be nervous. We will be doing Novice and Rally Adv as well and I'll be thrilled if I get 1 out of 2.
