My girl makes me so proud.
We started learning the weave poles last week with wire guides and gates up. I would guide her with the leash (to prevent her from going under/over the guides) and Luke or my trainer would call her/or I would have a target set up. Yesterday, I had her on a sit stay while I was setting up the target - she broke the stay but bolted through the weaves (with the guides) all by herself!
I had her enter, off leash, by herself and come to me several times. She's really got it! We're going to start fading the wire guides and gates now.
Also, we've been struggling with the drop on recall so much- but she's really nailed it! Between everyone's drop between the poles exercise and Melissa's cheese game, she's a dropping fool- I'm so excited to show her in open this summer.
Good girl Gabby!!!
Good girl Gabby!
It's always great when they finally start to get it
Yay! Congrats! I hope she continues to love the weave polls, they're one of Jake's favorite obstacles now too
