A pretty good day for my boy.
Showed in Utility A first. On signals, he failed to do the down, so I gave him the verbal. Pressure off
Scent Articles, he failed both, but at least he went out to the pile and made an attempt.
Gloves, had #2. Beautiful retrieve, but he dropped it coming back, but he picked it up and brought it to me. Judge took off -2 points.
Stand for exam, he did great, got - 1/2 point off.
Directed Retrieve, he did both of them. WOOHOO!!! Judge took off -3. I am still on cloud nine with this, it is the first time he's ever done the go-outs!!!
He also got a score of 96 and 2nd place in Rally Excellent, and a score of 100 and 2nd place (missed first place by 5 seconds) in Rally Advanced for our first RAE leg. Nice thing about this was, when we ran the Advanced class, six of my students were there to watch him and he nailed it with a perfect score
Here's some pictures that Susan (Caleb's mom) took.
I like this sequence... it is his go-out for directed jumping.
First... the run out, then the turn, then the sit.
He looks so proud in that last picture. ;D I'm so glad your go outs went well since I know you've been focusing a lot of energy there. Congrats on the RAE leg and the perfect score!
Congrats on the RAE leg and the successes in the the utility ring!! ;D
