For those of you that show USDAA. The Starters/Performance Pairs class... what is this needed for? I don't see any titling requirements on the website that needs a Q in this class. Anyone know?
I don't understand the question... "what is it needed for?" It's a game...a relay race. One team runs half the course, passes the baton to the 2nd team who runs the 2nd half of the course. It's a lot of fun. It is run at the Nationals too.Originally Posted by raian
I know it's a game. I've run it. What I mean is... you do not need to Q in this to meet any titling requirements that I can see. Just wondering why they have it. I guess you can title in Relay as a single title? Like a Snooker's title or Gambler's title? But I don't see that anywhere on the website. It is not needed as part of the Versatility title in Performance either, although it is used for the versatility title in Starters. I'm just not sure why anyone in Performance would run it at the performance level as I see no "titles" associated with it. Hope that makes sense.
Around here it is often the first class of the day. Most people use it to get the dogs on the equipment before the "REAL" stuff begins.
Here it is usually the last class of the day. Go figure
Pairs was supposed to start being required for the PDI/PDII/PDIII titles this year, but they postponed it until next year. There already are the individual performance relay titles.
