We are leaving today for an agility trial in Amarillo, Texas. It runs Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I am hoping for at least an excellent leg and really hoping for Madison to complete her excellent jumpers title. I am really really hoping for a double Q as proof that we can do it. I know eventually she can earn her master agilty title but would love to MACH with her. So any good thoughts or luck you can send this way would be greatly appriciated.
Had a beautiful standard run and qualified. Ran almost ten seconds under time. Earned our first MACH points.
Jumpers run is typical of our problem. Maddie started off slow and sluggish and got to the weaves in and out at pole two. Looked like she was sleepwalking. Does anyone else have this problem with the weaves. She can hit them once a day but not twice. I think I have tried everything. No problems with weaves at class, practice or at home. My husband thinks that all the jumps without any breaks such as the table or contacts just exhasts her so much that she cannot make the weaves. I'm not sure how to handle this. It is very frustrating. I cannot tell you how many times we would have qualified if only we would have made the weaves. Any suggestions?
You got 'em!!!
Good luck!! Have fun!!
