    Default# dogs/hour for...

    • Utility?
    • Open?

Is Open approximately 10 dogs/hour? Is this including long sits/downs? or no?

    Thanks!!

(seriously, maybe we should sticky this for us newbies, so that I will stop torturing all of you before every trial that Henery and I have!! LOL!)

I use 8-7-6 (Nov, Open, Util) when figuring times. It's a conservative estimate.

My notes have 8' average per Open dog. More for Novice and less for Utility (sorry--it's somewhere in the reg books but can't put my finger on it). If you have a judging schedule, the supers are to adhere to the AKC guidelines when scheduling ring times. -anne
