    DefaultAll-Star Performance Dog Championship

They have updated their website with the dates for next year's tournament. Premium list is suppose to be up in December. I know we'll be going back. We can't wait to go again! It's a great time for anyone who can make it. They have rally, obedience and agility.

So far Kona has qualified for Rally Excellant and we are going ........ have the days off from work approved. If we can get one utility score 193 or above we can compete in utility. Don't know about Bo yet.

This is the event that Betsy Scapicchio, Linda Brennan and a bunch of others got going after the Pupparoni (sp?) event stopped, right? Have fun!

Right. Susan and I met for the first time there last August when we went. We both had a great time.

Cool! I've known Betsy and Linda since probably around 1993. Mick & I trained at Top Dog. I remember when they were talking about starting All Star.

How do you qualify for it, where is it held, where is the premium listed?

For each level of obedience you need to have an aveage score of 190 in three different trials in that level. You cannot enter a lower level if you have a higher title.

In Rally you need an average of 95 in AKC (or 190 in other venues that use 200) in three trials.

Agility .... I don't know the requirements off hand since I don't compete in agility.

It is held in York, Pennsylvania--outside of Harrisburg. If the qualifications have not changed for rally it is three scores that average of 90 or better, obedience 190 or better and I don't know about agility. Deb, this is the tournament where Caleb took first place in Rally Advanced a year ago August. So far he's qualified for Rally Excellent but I'm hoping to have his RAE done by then and actually has qualified for Utility.

Scotty's average from his AKC Open is 194.83. The scores are from three trials in September and October of 2007. Does it mean he qualifies?

I don't see any links to the Premium working though.

According to previous years yes. The premium will be up in December.
