It's so much easier NOT to train your dog. :-\

Alas, I've been lazy the past few days.

I must get back on the program... I have upcoming shows.....

It's easy to slip up and to NOT train. I'm glad that Scotty really likes to train and terrorizes me on the rare days that I decide to take off training.

Gabby too. She won't let me study in the mornings until we've trained- even for five or ten minutes.

She can run for hour at the park, but the training wipes her out.

I try to train every day, except on Fridays, the day after class. Then I usually skip another day or two - yes - its very easy to NOT train! Emilu gets really antsy though if we don't have a "lesson" for a couple days in a row. She just bugs me to death until we do it. Then she is real perky for the next time or two.

Yup, very easy! If I am not taking or teaching classes once or twice a week, I slip off the training wagon really easily, especially since it gets dark out so early these days. Firearm deer season begins tomorrow, and the dogs really bite it for the next month and a half! (I am a sharpshooter, adn get paid to hunt!)

Ya, I have thought a lot about that, free meat, venison, duck, chicken and pheasant. Seems almost criminal to NOT feed raw. I really should take the plunge and at least feed one raw meal a day.
