DefaultIt's that time again! (judging schedule question)

    I know, I ask every time. :

For Open class... how many minutes/dog roughly? And then the class will be split, right? into groups of 12 (?) for long sits/downs? How much time do you allot for a group of long sits/downs?

On Saturday, it starts at 9am.
    30 Open B
    7 Novice A (we're in here somewhere)
    and then Open A

On Sunday, it starts at 9am.
    26 Open B
    4 Novice A
    and then Open A

I know lunches will be in there somewhere too.

On an aside though, I thought it was VERY kewl that the training director at the club called me personally to let me know that he had put my judging schedule and armband in the mail, but "since it can take a long time for mail to get to Canada" (LOL! sooo true!) he is going to email me the judging schedule and my armband # so I "don't need to worry"! How nice is that??!!

It's going to be a good two hours plus for the first Open classes to run. I always figure 7 minutes per dog, the judge has to mark his book, etc. And you have sits and downs added in.

My trainer say ten open dogs an hour. So I would figure three hours for Open B- and likely a break for the judge, too.

I was figuring it at around 3.5 hours myself, but I always err on the side of being there early
