DefaultNew training arena for our agility club

We went from being able to use the previous arena 2 nights a week and 4 hours on Sunday to having 24/7 access to the new arena..Our club will be the only one's using it so we can leave crates out there..It is a former horse arena so it has the arena area and an aisle way and stalls plus a tack room the electricity so we can put a microwave refrig etc..or we can video runs and watch them *G*..Because of city regs in our previous location you had to be a member to take classes or seminars..now we can open classes and seminars to nonmembers..

I took the Cavs out there for the first time tonight just to let them run around a little bit get use to the area do a little light fun training (it was still in the 90's tonight so didn't want to do too much)..anyway the boys were so good..as I let the sniff around everytime I called them they came running..(that has been a big problem with Robbie at the old arena)..we did a few jumps to weaves and Robbie did 12 weaves 5 times throughout the time we were there perfectly everytime(one of our big bug a boos)..Cedar did them correctly 3 times then started to break down a bit so we just did some other fun stuff..

All in all a very nice evening.

Wow, where do you live. I wish we had something like that available in our area, but we don't.

How come the horse folks are no longer using it?

we are in central Washington..The owners live on the other side of the state now and the last horses and renters really messed the place up so they were glad to have someone want it who wouldn't have horses in it..*G*..and we were willing to clean it up and make some improvements.

Both Sandy and Pat told me about how great the new place is too! I may have to consider joining again. Despite it only being 2 miles from me, my poor back couldn't take the old arena's sand. Anne
