Bayou Bay's Remington Seven CGC
He had a wonderful day today! We went to a big match. He got his CGC. He qualifed in Rally Novice B, and he qualified in the first part of Pre-Novice but his attention span ran out on the sits and downs. All in all he did FANTASTIC and I'm very pleased with how he behaved at the show, on the grounds, and in the ring. For being just six months old, and this was his first big indoor show.... WOW, I think he's fun
Here are some pictures from pre-novice. Not the best quality because my camera/lens is heavy and mom can't hold it very steady...

Awesome!! Congrats Linda and Remington!!!
So, AKC PreNovice is the same exercises as Novice, only done on leash? Here in Canada for PreNovice we have circle left/circle right instead of the figure 8 and sit for exam instead of stand...
Yes, AKC pre-novice is all the same exercises as Novice, but you do it all on leash We did have a few extra commands, but what the heck. I just wanted him to get in the ring and do his best, which he did. I know we are a LONG way from being ready to compete. We really need to work on his attention span, but it's coming along
Congrats..sounds like a wonderful day
Congratulations!!! Sounds like Remington is really taking to Obedience training!!

Wow! That's a lot for the little guy to do in one day. Congrats on the CGC! Love that attention on the F8 too.
Lydia, I called it "baptism by fire"!!! And he really handled it well. I'm very proud of him. This was also an All Breed show, and they had conformation rings going right across from the obedience rings. Lots and Lots of noise and people and confusion. I was really impressed with how Remington handled it all. He did some barking in his crate, but would settle down quickly.
Wow, he is really doing great! But he has a good trainer
He looks so happy in the ring next to you - he will be amazing!
