I don't know how, but it seems Remington learned "sit" all by himself. He's 100% at this command now. At 9 weeks old, mind you. He's also pretty reliable at come.
Here's the kicker. I've been teaching him "finish". This is too stinkin' cute. I call this little guy, who can hardly run cause he's all roly poly and uncoordinated, but he bounces straight in to me, sits in front without being told, goes around behind me and sits by my left side ( bit crooked yet, but heh, he's just a wee tike).
This is so much fun teaching a new one
I so want to teach STAY but I really don't think he's got enough focus yet to even introduce it. We'll wait a bit longer and perhaps begin "down".
That is great!! I'll be happy if Bo will walk with a collar and leash on by the end of the week.

The wee ones ARE fun !
Remington sez he wants to be added to your siggy!
Linda, walking with a collar and leash haven't come yet. He stops and scratches the collar a lot, and also stops walking so I have to pop, pop, pop, drag, drag him along until he totally plunks down and I have to pick him up off the ground and carry him!!!
I swear, the boy spends a great deal of his day in a coma. Sleep and more sleep. Guess he needs to conserve all his energy for growing
Karen, Remington is in my siggy pic.....
Ya, but his name! His name!Originally Posted by raian

Linda - I love your new picture with all 3 of your pups. Remington is adorable and sounds like he's learning fast. Imagine a front as his young age - he must be a genius!!!

Genius, LOL, I don't think so. I think we were lucky. He seems to look to make eye contact with me though, so maybe that will stay with him as we train for competition later
