I plugged my name into GOOGLE search engine and notice that my name, Andrea Dugan, was mentioned in one of the posts. Instead of trying to decipher my articles in F&F, I would love to give first-hand help! Please let me know how I can help you!

Andrea, Welcome and thank you for your offer to help. Was this the quote you found?
In front and finish magazine there is an article by Andrea Dugan that gives an example of a dog not being with the handler in the ring ........ the dog was no longer operant and therefore could not perform in the ring and also couldn't learn.
I was referring to the the article in February issue about when learning takes place and when it can't. Hope I didn't misunderstand what you meant.

    Hi:

No, I don't think I misunderstood. If you have a problem with your pup, I would love to understand the situation a bit more, so maybe I can help you!.

    Best Regards,
    Andrea

Andrea, I was trying to help Connie, with Angus and Simon. Her boys are very new to obedience and she was at a show the past weekend with them. Her user name is AngusFangus. Right now I'm not having too many issues with my boy but after our trials in March I may have!! ;D

Andrea, welcome! I love Front and Finish. Here, there is a range of those of us training and competing in Utility to those just beginning this great journey in Rally and Novice.
