So it looks like I have a show each month up until this summer.
January 27 - 28, our club's show at Ladson (obedience)
February 17 - 18 Savannah Agility
March 10 - 11 Hilton Head (obedience)
March 17 - 18 Mt. Pleasant (USDAA Agility)
April 28 - 29 Camden (obedience AND Agility) -- if I go, I will have a puppy then that may still be too young to travel.
May 19 - 20 Beaufort (obedience)
Except for the Camden show, all of these shows are within an hour and a half drive time. And, all of them are outside except for our club show in January.
Good luck with your shows - but the most exciting part of that schedule is the "puppy" part - can't wait till you get him (or her)!!!
Sheesh, I thought I was busy!
Wow, that's a lot of shows! And it's nice how close to you they all are. Good luck in all of them.
You are going to be one busy gal! Good luck with all of them, and I can't wait to hear more about your possible new baby! Is this new baby going to be in conformation classes? It is a LOT of work to do both...I don't know how so many do it so well!
I have a similar show schedule as yours, but most of them are specialties, and mostly conformation. I haven't decided whether or not to take Libby back in for more obedience at any of these particular shows...she will definitely at some point to finish her CD and RN, but I was soooo stressed out at our club's specialty in November trying to show one in regular/sweeps conformation (then in the Best In Sweeps class since he won his sweeps class), and trying to get over with Libby (without practicing) into individual Novice A exercises, then back to sweeps, then back for group sits/downs, with only 3 in Novice A, it was a good thing they were nice and held the class up for us!
From that day on, even though Libby got a leg toward her CD and Monty did well in conformation, I vowed that I wouldn't do that to myself (or the dogs) again...one at a time. Monty is only in puppy classes until the end of April, so he gets the double-whammy with sweeps and regular for now...then I'll concentrate on Libby. LOL I get too overwhelmed too easily, especially as a newbie.

That sounds great! And all so close...lucky!
Wish I was closer - I'd be happy to watch your puppy while you went to a show
I know we have a few coming up too, but I'm just trying to decide what I'm doing in January before I even think about them.
Connie and "The Boys":
Angus, Yellow Lab, CGC, RE, CD
Simon, d.b.a. Flat Coated Retriever, CGC, RE, CD
Gone ahead, but forever in my heart:
Crash, Pit Bull x Rottweiler x Golden Retriever
I keep looking at my schedule this spring too.
I am taking 2 dogs to an obedience show 1/13, need to decide who to take and how many days for a 4 day show in Feb. I have a 2 day UKC show in March where I want to take all 3...I afraid to think too much further in advance! It all depends on how everyone does.
That sounds like a really reasonable schedule. It gives you time in between each show to work on issues. I'm looking forward to hearing results from all of them.
Sounds good! Really like your new signature picture!
