Well we managed to make it through our final Novice A Obedience show. We ended with a 191 and a second place. We also got a prize for high scoring youngest dog in trial. We lost 2 pts on the stand for exam and our heeling was a bit out of sync but she was attentive and not doing to bad. We managed to Not have a scoot forward on our recall (yeah!) and the groups were kinda scary. She sat still on the group sit and wasn't looking all around or air scenting, about half way through I was thinking maybe she was sick and was going or barf or something. On the down she only shifted to a different hip once and didn't even smell around her. I was thinking something was definitely up but as soon as the groups were over I put her leash on and gave her an OK release and she bounced up tail wagging and being as obnoxious as usual. Now if I can just get her to keep doing this it would be great.
We ended up with 60pts for our Novice A obedience standings and we have 65pts for our Novice combined standings.
