We had a blast!! We still can't do the ladder right - he actually walked entirely on the ladder one time through, as in his feet never touched the ground. But he was great on the planks, trotted nicely over raised calvaletti, and nailed the attention exercises. A full day of daycare before class was key to our success
I wish we did more in our class Linda, but this instructor is very very cautious about dogs being intimidated by the obstacles, and assumes the dogs don't even have basic obedience training. It's both good and bad for Jake and I, hopefully we'll do more next week.
And, one of the girls I work with who runs her dog (a weim) in agility at the same club injured herself about a month ago, and is going to let me take the dog to the intermediate class for the rest of the session - so that will be fun too!

Just got the letter that I made it into the Beginner A agility class at our local club (it's limited to 10 students) The first night we trot through some ground poles, go over a plank on the ground, and through a ladder - I can't wait! Looks like we'll be actually posting (rather than just reading) at this board more in the next few weeks!
