What an exhausting weekend! Caleb finished his Canadian Club CD with some pretty nice scores. Our first run and leg was a 195--he was being his goofy Labrador self. Second run in the after noon was a 198 1/2! That was our best ever and as Melissa said, it got us our first and my very first Hight In Trial! I was floored! Today our first run earned us a 197 and a fourth place (competition was really tough up there!) and best of all our title. Fourth run everyone could see that Caleb was done. He even began to fall asleep on his long sit! Everyone was laughing at him as he was having a very difficult time keeping his eye lids open! He had none of his flash but we still got a 195 1/2. I looked, and our scores also qualifed us for the Front and Finish Platinium Obedience award. I did get our picture taken with the judge but I am too tired to deal with it tonight so I'll try to post it tomorrow.
As Melissa said, I got to meet her and Ruby as well as a friend of her's and Ruby's brother. They all seemed so sweet! Ruby was a hoot!!! I just wish I could have spent more time with them, but we were in and our of the ring.
