For those that are interested, F&F finally put the First & Foremost ratings online. The Delaney ratings are still not online. ???
#7 Open A Lab for First and Foremost
#8 Open A Lab for Delaney
For those unfamilar with the ratings...First and Foremost ranks dogs based on their individual scores (for example every time you score 190 you get 5 pts) and Delaney ranks dogs on the # of dogs beaten in a particular class (for example if you place 1st in a class of 20, you beat 19 and therefore get 19 pts. Only the top 4 finishers in a class can collect Delaney points).
I'm not sure. It seems like it changes from year to year. For example, last year we were #3 Nov A Lab for First & Foremost and didn't even get a letter. I just happened to see it on the website. NOV A was never published in the magazine. They published A&B combined instead.
This year has been a complete mess at F&F. They only published some results (Open A) which were incorrectly calculated then they republished the results and said the detailed breakdowns were on line but it tooks months for the results to actually show up on the website. It seems that this year they are splitting A&B but I couldn't tell you for certain.
You could try writing to Crystal @ F&F and see if she can find any info for you. She's the one who has been helping me.
The year we got our CD, Caleb was ranked in the Delaney system. They just did the Novice A dogs separately in this month's issue. They are re-doing their ratings, their web site, etc so it has been rather confused, shall we say?! I'll keep an eye out for the Novice B if you don't find it on the site.
