DefaultSome good news on Scotty's elbows

I took Scotty to a vet that our trainer goes to. This Dr. put a CD on his dogs before, so he's familiar with obedience competition. He examined Scotty's elbows and was very pleased with his range of motion (Scotty got full RofM back) and muscle mass. He said that Scotty should be able to jump and go on to Open and Utility training!

He showed me an elbow model and said that during jumping, the anconeal process actually takes the presure, and coronoid process takes the pressure during flexion. So, he felt that Scotty's condition will not interfere with jumping or get worse because of it.

I am so happy to hear that. I know we're far away from even his CD, but I'm glad we have a long road ahead of us to learn together.
