    DefaultA little too obedient!

Molly, Molly, Molly...Well, the little lady is coming along pretty well in her class, it's amusing at times because she's gotten to the point where with commands she is 100% she'll do them whenever she hears the word ie:

Instructor: Ok, I want you to put the dog in a sit
    Molly: *sits*
Instructor: *laughs* and then we're going to do a down, sit, and back down
Molly: *downs*, *sits*..*tilts head* (she's not 100% on down yet)

It's rather amusing to watch, but a bit annoying at home when you say "I was going to sit there" and Molly sits expecting praise (lol)

Other then that, she has a decent recall (still needs work) and we've made it to a 23 second down stay/sit stay without deciding to pop up before a release. She is very good with her loose lead walking, and if she pulls I become a tree and in about 5 seconds she realizes "oops walk doesn't start until I'm back on the left side"

So proud of my baby girl!

I'm glad to hear that she is progressing *and you seem to be having fun. *It is always amusing to see the dogs respond to our commands rather than the owners (from an instructor!). *Not funny when one is getting ready to compet! *I love watching them learn something--you can almost see the wheels turning and see the light come on!

    Enjoy!

We had a handler w/Schnauzers who would bring her toddler to class. One night, she was doing a DOR, and the baby was wandering around the yard, off to the side.

    Mom commanded: "DROP!"

And the baby went immediately to her tuchus! We laughed for 10 minutes straight!
