    DefaultC-WAGs Level 3

Well, since Canine Affair is so close, I am mad at myself for sitting there all day. I guess I thought things would speed up and it would just be a few hours. Well, we didn't get in the ring until about 8 pm

Turns out, we were the only dog so we had to go in the ring two time back to back.

First time, Miles was great and he got a level 3 leg. He did his go-out, it wasn't perfect but it passed! Stellar retrieve over the broad jump and directed jump. He is always a little pokey with his drop but it is passable. Signals good. The second time, while the patterns were a little different, he was kind of tired and bored (too much waiting around all day) so we NQ'd when he didn't come on the first cue for a drop on recall. The nice thing about C-Wags, is once that happens, you can finish the class, but do whatever you need to do to make your dog successful and have fun. So we finished up and he did everything stellar because I could use my training tools (okay, I used a target for the go out because I really wanted to reinforce what he did the first time!).

Congratulations on the leg. I showed today in St. Charles and we did horrible, Shane was so distracted it was embarrassing. We will live to train another day.

The long day takes its toll sometimes, but you still came out okay. Great job.
