    UnhappyNo agility for us today!

I am entered in an agility trial today and tomorrow in Edinboro, PA. Winter storm blew in. Not driving out there today.

I hate it when this stuff happens.

Yes, Deidra. You don't get your entry fees back, either.

That's the pits..I am trialing next weekend and I am hoping the northwest winter storms are done by then...I actually just changed my hotel reservations to the day before so I don't have to try to get over the mountain passes the day of the trial.

yeah, well, that's how it goes.

Diedra, no we don't get our fees back. It was my choice not to go. Some people did go. Some, seeing the forecast, went out there the night before and got hotel. I chose to eat my entry fee rather than spend even more on a hotel. It was my choice, so there is no reason I should expect my entry fee refunded. If the trial had been cancelled due to the weather that would be another story. They rarely are. Throwing a fit would only make me look like a [email protected]$$ and unwelcome at future trials.

Hey, I got there on Saturday. Had fun, no Qs.

Well, with being in northeast Ohio with Ann, I know it's a chance you take each time you enter any type of trial in the winter. Even Cleveland All-Breed had a blizzard the weekend of one of their March trials. It happens. The chance you take. Most of the time it works out but once in a while it does not.
