DefaultFour Obedience and Rally trials in one day!!

And, as last weekend there was a bit of the good, bad and the ugly! Since yesterday's trials were put off to today, I had Kodi entered in four Utility classes and two open classes. Hoss was entered in two open classes and two URO2 classes, a total of ten altogether.

Hoss was 100% qualifying, and earned his UCDX in three straight and his URO2 in four tries. He also got a HIT in the first rally class today with a score of 100! By the second trial, we were all pretty tired (at that point we had been 10 hours at the show site), and he qualified with a 96 score.

Kodi, well she qualified in three of the six classes she was entered in. She qualified in only 1 of her Utility classes with a second place and her got her UUD. A missed glove, a missed sit signal and a wrong directed jump accounted for the other three failures. Kodi did qualify in both her Open classes one with a second place and the other with a third place. Almost all of her fronts were crooked, so I am really going to have to concentrate on those, along of course with heeling. She lagged something fierce on the figure eights. She did earn 13 OTCH points though...ironically, that is what she has for her AKC OTCH also!

Both are sound asleep after a nice big sardine dinner having earned it I think!!!! I am tempted to enter another trial next weekend, but three weekends straight may be more than I can take, much less the kids!!

Congratulations! Sounds to me like the pups handled all those trials just fine. That's a lot for one day.

Hehe and here I thought I was the one here who feeds sardines for a celebration. Evidently it's an old Norwegian tradition. I heard about it from the Elkhound list I'm on.

I do occasional sardines too. However, mine is for dandruff. Laura suggested it to me when Murphy had it horribly. Works like a charm! My puppers get them about once a week or once every other week. It has to be on recycling day so those nasty smelling cans can go right outside. =) =)

Thanks to Laura, Caleb gets a can every Wednesday, too. But I also give him a can to celebrate stuff.

I get ground sardines in either 2# or 7# tubes. essentially the sardine ground into a paste. Still very smelly, but I do not have to look at fish faces when I feed!
