    DefaultHome from the Nationals

We're home and beat! What a long week! But it was good and fun. Caleb has a major issue with the Utility ring so we had only one q out of three and that one was just out of the ribbons. But he did surprise me and held his sit stay the first day for a q and second place and another OTCh point. His rally runs were good and placed and got two more RAE2 legs.

Micah was a dream! First place in Pre-Novice. Had some lagging but I sure know what I need to focus on. First day of rally he finished his RN with a 99 and second place. Snot had to body slam me on the finish to the left. Rally ran late so I thought I would be smart and move him up to Advanced A for the next two days. Boy did that back fire since they ended up running the Advance classes last and he ended up being the last dog to run for the day Thursday. But, he surprised me and got a 97 and second place for his first RA leg! Got his second leg Friday with a 99 and first place! What a shock! Guess I'll ahve to find another rally trial soon so we can finish that RA!

I was wondering where you were. Where were Nationals held? Sounds like a good week for you, regardless. Congrats on your Q's and titles and placings and Otch point, and everything!! Glad you are home safe and sound.

Yes, that is where we were. We left last Tuesday and got home late last night. I am still beat. Thanks everyone. I cannot tell you just how proud of Micah I am. My wild child is really turning out to be a wonderful boy!
