We had a CPE trial today, and it went well, sort of surprisingly, lol!
Peanut has been sick, Thursday and Friday were no fun for her, vomitting, couldn't keep anything down. I was *thisclose* to running her to the e-vet friday night when she had zero appetite, actually spat out a piece of chicken. She's normally a total pig so that had me worried. If it were Baloo he would have been at the vet because I'd be worried about obstruction, but Peanut's not one to eat random objects so I figured something had upset her tummy.
But she was much better Saturday morning, appetite was back although not as good as it usually is, so we practiced a bit and she did OK so decided to try it out and see.
She definitely wasn't on her "A" game, much slower and more hesitant than usual, but we managed to Q in 3 out of 4 runs and finish her CL2-F (level two fun games) title, so I was happy with that. She really tried even though she wasn't that into it today, so what more can I ask. Good little Minpin.
Overall, not a bad start to the season!
Baloo - 5 year old black lab
Peanut - 7 year old minpin
Monster - 3-ish year old frenchie/jack, rescue
what a good girl running if she was feeling punk
