We went to a local show today hoping to get Maddy's 8th RAE leg and Jed's FIRST RN leg. And we were SUCCESSFUL!
Maddy did her RE leg first and only got an 88. We practiced the back up 3 steps and she was doing it great, but in the ring, she messed it up. Then when we did a Call Front exercise, she decided to circle me instead of coming to Front. We retried, and she got it right this time. For some reason she was really hyped up, and her sits and heels were crooked, but heck, she's got her Q. In RA, she did better with a 95. Again it was a bunch of bad sits and wide heeling.
Jed did well for his first time out. The course seemed so easy after the RE/RA ones! HA HA He had a bad sit on his Call Front and then I had to retry the Left About turn. He knows it, but WANTED to stick my by side. Ended up with a 95, and we were in tie for 4th, but the little Sheltie with a 95 was faster!
