Hauled Rems to Hilton Head this morning for a trial. We ran him in Standard and JWW. I am so pleased to tell you the tunnels were NOT an issue. Okay... we did get sucked into them once, but he came right back out. Absolutely no rolling around inside.
His biggest problem today was focus. He was plenty fast enough, zoomed around a little bit too. But Lord did he have the sniffies. A couple of times I had to go get him to get his nose off the ground.
Not a bad day, not a good day. A good practice day though.
I had a couple folks make a point to come up to me after he ran and tell me how much he's improving... I thought that was very nice.
We are glad to be home. It's hot and buggy out today. It was 87 degrees down in Hilton Head and the gnats about ate us up.
Ah yes the sniffies..know them well..tho overall sounds like a good day..glad the tunnel issues are getting better
Linda - Great progress and sounds like you are pleased overall. Terrific!!! B

Oh, that is so nice that other people came up and complimented you! That doesn't happen very often, so he must have been really doing a good job for them to make it a point to come over and say so. Good for him!!!
Sounds like some nice progress!!!!!!!!

Thanks everyone. I am still hopeful that by the time he's 5 years old it will all click and he'll be great at this. If not... well I guess I'll be dog shopping
