if Micah will ever get into the ring. Today's class was one of those classes where he didn't do much of anything, especially heeling. He was looking all over rather than at me. What a terrible day at class! We have lots of work ahead of us if I want to get him into the Rally Novice ring this spring. It might not be until next year when he gets in after the way he worked today!
Oh my. He's ADD like someone else I know (Remington)
I honestly don't expect much of anything from Remington, his attention span just is not there. He'll be doing okay and then you just see it go, he zones out, and then focuses on something of interest only his little mind knows about. Silly boys.
If Remington does anything at all in the ring, I'll be happy, but our game plan is to just roll with the flow with this boy
I think Micah will come around. But like I told you when you were down here, you are going to have your hands full (and your work cut out for you) with that boy
Oh, BTW, did you read my reply in your HHI thread?
Yes I read it--which part are you refering to?
I feel your pain..for the 1st time in a long time Robbie ran out of the horse arena into the pasture area at practice Sunday...He's 3 and I'm still hoping he will settle down someday..LOL...when he's on he's beautiful to watch in the agility ring..problem is ya never know when he is going to be on..LOL
Oh, he's still so young! That's what everyone has continue to remind me of about Miles for the last 2 years. Micah will get it, I have no doubt, with you as a trainer.
I know Micah will be a star in the ring!
I thought for a minute you were talking about Bo!!! We had some awesome pieces of heelling last night and quite a few of not knowing Mom was at the other end of the leash!!
Micah will get there .......... it's so hard to remember what it was like when our trained dogs were litttle. (Kona had some fun times in the ring!!)

That is so true Linda. We have these advanced dogs that we have been training for four, five years or more and we forget what they were like when they were young. I won't give up on him, that is for sure!Originally Posted by lcspt
