Chicken, beef, lamb, and venison are really easy for me to get (and cheap) so I stick with those meats. Turkey is also available at the grocery store, but it costs me a lot more than the others so I don't use it as often.

You get lamb cheaper than turkey? Lucky :P
I haven't found a good source of lamb since moving out here. There are a lot of ethnic groups out here who like to keep the whole animal, so slim pickings for us raw feeders. Too bad, as lamb is one of my favourite meats to feed.

imo ground meat is ok sometimes. whole pieces are a better work out, better for the teeth and some mental stimulation but if the price is right ground is fine, just not everyday! i feed ground beef, and pork now and then. Beef stewing meat too sometimes.

Mutton is big around here, so it's pretty readily available...or at least one of the barbecue joints in town will order a little extra when they put in their orders for me (and they don't charge me extra).

It depends on how you feed it...it can be perfectly fine everyday. A lot of the chicken backs I have access don't have much meat on them - that's what they sell to the humans. It does have some organ meat and obviously bones, but it won't have enough meat to adhere to the whole prey model.

I use chicken, beef, lamb, mutton. Turkery isn't available. I also feed fish. Anything that is cheaper really.
