    There are a lot of those out there. Now, just like dog food, once you start you might have to adjust a little--I actually feed Caleb a little less than what most sites recommend, and he's an active dog. Just depends on their system.

    I actually feed this food, and have to say that I think, at least for Sami, that it underestimates. She is something like 57 lbs. maybe and it recommends 1 lb. a day -- so 8 oz. each meal. I have to give her more than that, so I usually give her one 8 oz. patty plus a chicken neck, or dehydrated food in addition.

    I think the general guideline is about 2% of your dog's body weight.
