My husband again came back from work with a bag full of bones. He has some friend who works for a butcher (God Bless him). He gave him some bones that I believe are beef leg bones, but I am not sure which part. I took a few pictures. They are large flat bones with some yummy meat on it. What do you think, can she eat that?

Sounds great to me and Chocolata. I guess having a husband who works for grocery wholeseller has some advantage :POriginally Posted by Yellow Boys Mom
How old is Chocolata? , and not to jack the thread, but is there an age that is too young?
For raw bones? I waited until my dogs had their adult teeth in before they got marrow bones but they had soft bones edible bones from a young age. Of course, thats just me. I know most puppy owners wouldn't feel comfortable with feeding bones to a pup so ultimately the choice is up to you...and not to jack the thread, but is there an age that is too young?
She will be 2 yrs in July. We adopted her last summer when she was one. She has been eating raw for little over a months. As far as feeding bones to young ones - let's see what others who fed it to their puppies have to sayOriginally Posted by Serg4u
My boys get these bones all the time. I keep frozen beef neck bones and soup bones around for recreational chewing.
even if Chocolata can't eat the whole bone, i'm sure she'll have fun trying! ;D
She actually eats the whole thing. I love to watch her eating. It is so much fun giving her something really big, and then few minutes later, half of it is gone. When she eats fish, it is so funny when there is only half left :P
i enjoy watching gus too although sometimes it scares me a bit his meal is almost finished and he swallows the last bite! question do you cut off the fins when you feed fish (if they feel sharp/hard).
