DefaultFingers crossed for no more farts...

Tomorrow I am going to pick up some new food for Bilbo. It is 80% meat, 20% vegetables and herbs with a joint supplement added. Completely grain free. The past 2 days the farts and sloppy poops have gotten worse. I phoned the vet this morning and asked what to do and they said starve for 24 hours and give him some cooked chicken in the morning and see how he is. I've had the windows open all day today because his gas smells THAT bad! As this new food is so expensive (£50 a bag) and I have to travel 25 mins to pick it up, I really hope it works! Otherwise I'll have to book him into the vets (another £50!).

Please please no more smelly farts

What product ? I feed Burns and that's only £35.00 - £40.00 per bag on line providing that you buy two bags ( and free delivery )

It's called Eden, it was the top rated food in the UK last year, but they are only a small company. I've been feeding him latham's which looked good but it has never really agreed with him, but the past 2/3 days he has had really bad gas, bloatyness and some sloppy poos

    Hope it works!
I was feeling very smug after your previous post, because Koivu barely ever has gas anymore, so of course, 2 days ago we had a "Major Digestive Event".
Foulest smelling emissions I have ever experienced from a dog. Not sure what caused it, but he's fine again now, so I'm blaming it on the daycare
Hope your new food does the trick for you!

Your post made me laugh! But...in all seriousness, my dog Brooklyn was having the same problem. I started using this stuff called soothing digestive relief and it has worked great. Here is the link to the site I buy it from (p.s. there is a funny video at the bottom of the page!) Inflammatory Bowel Disease Formula For Cats and Dogs
