DefaultWater Park For Labs in the Bay Area

Hello I live in South Bay Area (silicon valley), and I was wondering if there were any good places where there is water that I can take my dog to run around and swim in, or even just to splash around in? Are there any good places that Lab owners like to take there dogs to w/ in San Jose or the Bay Area? I've heard that the Guadalupe River Trail is a good place, but it is such a long trail that I think the area that I went to was wrong because access to the water was blocked by reeds and it didn't look to safe. Any suggestions of where she can run around and get wet would be greatly appreciated, mahalos...

Im not from around there but get a kitty pool! My dogs destroyed my one I had for them last year because they got a little to wild, lol. They love it though when I set it up.

~It doesn't matter how smart the dog is,it matters how smart the owner is.

Hi. I live in south bay and there aren't too many places in the area. We took our dog to Arastradero which is the page mill exit off of 280. It's an unofficial swimming pond for dogs. Also, Niles community park they are allowed to swim at Shin pond. It's the Alameda Creek trail where the dogs are allowed off leash. This is close to Fremont (I know not south bay), but it's a great trail and the people that hang out at the pond are very friendly. Have fun!!

Perfect... thanks for the suggestions, we'll have to get each of these places a visit this summer.
