I should know this, since I deal with dog food on a daily basis but I don't really see much in the beef.
I am looking for suggestions for a beef based food. I know Diamond makes it but they do not manufacture a bag smaller than a 40lb and I need it for a toy breed. The breeder feeds the Diamond but then again she is feeding a few more than just one.
The red meat lines from Innova EVO, and Orijen might work. But they are not straight beef - there are other red meats in them (Lamb, boar, pork) ... that might not actually work if it is for allergy problems.
The two I was thinking are: Orijen Regional Red Innova EVO - small bites
I think (but don't quote me on it!) that Nature's Variety foods tend to use single protein sources. They also have the Instinct line of grain-free foods if grains are a problem.
...well unless she wants to switch her big dog over to Diamond Beef/Rice then the big bag wont be so bad.
