    Defaultpuking dog

    Hey guys,
My dog has thrown up once a day for the past 3 or 4 days. Her apatite is the same as it ever is, her stools are solid, her energy level is good, she doesn't seem to be feeling sick, but the vomiting is bothering me. The only change in her diet lately has been I have given her some soup bones to chew on, but that started almost 2 weeks, she hasn't had a new one since before she started puking. she has been chewing on the bones though. Any Ideas as to what this could be? could it be she doesn't handle the soup bones well? or could there be something else wrong?

My guess would be bone splinters irritating the lining of her stomach. I'd put her on a bland diet after fasting her a day if possible and stay away from real bones. One of my puppy owners just went thru this.

Was the bone raw or cooked?

The bone was raw, I would never give me dog a cooked bone. She didn't vomit today which hopefully is a good sign. Hopefully I wont wake up to anymore surprises and whatever it was cleared up.
