    DefaultHelp! Licking her chops

Abby keeps licking her chops. And she is shaking her head once every so often. I checked her mouth and nothing. What could be wrong?

Licking lips usually means nausea. If it continues you might want her checked out by a vet. She could have eaten something that is disagreeing with her belly.

My ii yr. old Lab has been doing it for several days, I took a bowel and urine sample in, it came back fine, taking he in for blood work tomorrow,at first I thought it may be tonsillitis, but more inclined to think it is nausea, I hear some bowel sounds, and a few times she will want to hurry outside to eat grass, she has had it off and on for years, but this time it is lasting longer. She gets probiotics, and enzymes when necessary.
